Question: Will bad weather end the planet

Hi!

Good question. There are many different things that could damage the planet. For people that isn’t good, but luckily these things might not happen for a long long time.
Bad weather, or stormy weather which cause damage and hurt people could happen more often in the future. The world is warming up, and that affects the weather. If it is warmer in some places, it makes big storms as storms happen when cold air meets warm air and they mix together. We can see them mixing together when tornadoes happen. The biggest storms are called hurricanes and they are where the wind swirls round really fast and they are really big. If we get more of those, then people will get hurt and places will get damaged.

Luckily there are scientists who are looking out for the storms and bad weather and can let people know if they need to do anything. Bad weather takes a while to be made, so we can get ready for it!
