When I’m not doing scientific work, I enjoy playing video games quite a lot! I quite like the idea of being a very tactical sniper or archer! I think they play a great role in battles and archery is a cool skill!
In the year 1415, there was a famous battle called the Battle of Agincourt – where English forces fought French forces in northern France. Henry the Fifth was the King at the time, and managed to win the battle because of a new invention at the time – the English longbow. Most of Henry’s army had much success firing arrows at the battle, and it earned Henry the victory!
This is a really interesting question! I would hope that my skills could come in useful, so not just to help animals from a medical point of view if they were the victims of trauma, but also to use what I know about food and water hygiene (another part of being a vet is learning about public health) to keep people safe and healthy. There are charities and organisations that work with vets in many parts of the world that are suffering from the effects of war, to try to help the animals (domestic and wild) and people to survive and stay safe.
