      Hey Simi!

We can see the moon the best at night, as it is lit up against a dark sky. The truth is that the moon is also there in the day, but we can’t really see it! The atmosphere around the earth makes it hard to see it, and the sunlight shines on everything around us and we cant see the moon!

My job depends on the moon. The moon is pretty useful as it makes the sea move! Sometimes the sea level is higher (we call that high tide) and sometimes it is lower (low tide) and the moon causes this! We cant go on the beach at high tide, so we need the moon to come out in the day!

      Lauren 😀
