• Question: Why do we have teeth

      Hey!

      Well, what if we didn’t have teeth? We would have to eat a whole pizza? Look at sea gulls, they don’t have teeth so if they try and take your pizza they find it difficult to swallow! They don’t have teeth because they normally eat slippery fish from the sea and they go straight down their necks!

      People need teeth as they naturally eat things that they need to take bites out of and make smaller so they can swallow them. Otherwise we would go hungry or have to eat smooth wet things like soup ALL THE TIME!
