I don’t do a lot of digging myself – I like to leave the dirty work to my friends. 😉

However, I know that my friends have certainly found a lot of cool stuff before – one of them went to Russia a few years ago to a very cold place called Siberia. There is a lake there (the deepest lake in the world) called Lake Baikal. Next to Lake Baikal were a society of people living around 5,000 years ago. Their bones showed many signs of rowing, swimming and fishing activities. Isn’t that cool?

My friend has showed me many photographs of the lake and the bones, and that’s always exciting! But as I said, I like to work in the lab and in museums mainly. This way, I don’t need to go to really cold and far away places, but I still get to appreciate the skeletons back in the lab. 🙂
