Question: Is animal inheritance the same as human inheritance and if it is why?

Evolution works on all living things in the same way – the fittest (best adapted) individuals will be the ones who survive to pass their genes on (their genes be inherited) to the next generation. However, humans have managed to get rid of a lot of the things that would have threatened their survival – predators and disease. So cultural factors affect how likely genes are to be inherited for humans too.
