• Question: Have you ever tried to re-create a tornado to see if we should actually be worried

      We don’t need to be worried in the UK as tornadoes and hurricanes don’t come here. The sea water is too cold! Even if one came towards us from somewhere else it wouldn’t be very strong because there wont be enough warm air to make it happen.
      We do get smaller storms caused when warm air and cold air meet, and this makes it very windy and rainy, and big waves are made at sea. We do look at those and make experiments to see what damage they could cause.
