I did a bit of research online, and scientific textbooks seem to say that tigers have 432 as the number of bones in a tiger skeleton, although it may depend on which tiger you’re looking at.

This surprises me just a bit because a normal pet cat has 244 bones – quite a large difference from the bigger tiger! But I suppose a tiger has a longer body and a longer tail, so a majority of those extra bones will be extra tail bones, extra bones in a tiger’s spine, and extra ribs!

Cool question – got me to find out some cool facts online! Thanks.
